Investment Clubs

Investing has long been something that people generally did not discuss amongst themselves. It was perceived as so mysterious and difficult that those without MBAs should not try messing with it, lest they lose their entire nest egg in some silly blunder.

Most people just closed their eyes and handed over their life savings to Wall Street, hoping for the best.

You can read the ending for that system in the daily newspapers.

These exceptions to the rule were members of investment clubs.

They meet regularly, discussing investing in general and various specific investments.

They pool their money.

They take control of their own finances and do it… together.

At the core of Investment Clubs is community. Members share thoughts, asking and answering questions in message boards, chats, and featured articles. This web site and associated blogging sites are an example.

Comments may be published by the members and our staff will answer them.
